Use Up Your DSP Scraps!!

Have you ever used an entire package of DSP? I haven't! My goal for myself this catalog was to use one complete package of DSP. This post has 6 amazing cards to help you use the scraps of DSP. Here we go!

I got my creative juices flowing by copying the catalog. Can you pick out the card I copied?

Did you choose the bottom middle card? That's the one! Page 28 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog has a fancier version of this card.

I hope you like my card and consider using small strips of DSP with flower cutouts layered on top. The vellum doily softens the card. No other embellishments were used but you could easily add ribbon or gems.

Another option with 3/4" or 1" strips of DSP is this cute card. Just rip the ends at an angle to create differing lengths.

When you have a lot of little squares you can create a pinwheel or just a 'four square' to center a sentiment or image. This card I had leftover 1" squares that I layered on basic white. I also had the flower leftover from trying different options on a swap.

If your scraps are larger, say 2" or even 4", this card would be perfect. The background is a 4" scrap and the flag is a 2" scrap. Take a look.

Then I decided to use all the scraps that I previously die cut. I like to layer two of the same die cut images with the back one shifted or tilted to the side. The shimmer vellum adds just the right amount of glam to this leftover and lonely flower.

The final card is the same idea as the previous card. Using up those cutouts by layering together. This card steps up at an angle and I used 3 pieces to center on the front.

Happy Stamping!
