I'm sure you see the scrapbook page, but did you notice the cute tag hanging from the gift bag? The tag is a simple 2 x 4-1/4" piece of Thick Whisper White punched with the scallop tag topper and stamped with the Piece of Cake stamp set using Momento ink. I colored the cake and stand with Light Balmy Blue and Light/Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends. The Cake Builder Punch is currently unavailable but the tag can be created without ... so you're in luck! Just start with the words stamped at the bottom and work your way up to the candles. I added a few enamel dots to bring in some other colors and tied the tag on with Blueberry Bushel ribbon.
The scrapbook page took me a long time to create but in the end was very simple to assemble. I had lots of pictures of the same pose (trying to get the kids to look at the camera at the same time). My goal was to create a cake with my pictures because I've seen some really adorable cake scrapbook pages on pinterest. Since this page is for my husband's 30th Birthday, I thought the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) would be manly, yet showy. I cut out the 3 and 0 from the DSP and put that in the 'frosting' on the top tier of my Highland Heather cake. Happy Birthday was cut apart and used as the page title - don't forget to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on the cardstock before running through your Big Shot and making a sticker!!
