Santa's Workshop Scrapbook Page

Happy HOLIDAY18 Friday! I was thrilled to complete my first scrapbook layout in a LONG time!!! I challenged myself to use the Santa's Workshop Memories and More packet and this is what I came up with...

The left page is out of my normal comfort zone and the right side is my go to layout.

On the left I trimmed down a 4x6 card from the Memories and More Cards to achieve the glittering bar. The ribbon is hiding my seam because the card is only 6" long and I needed to cover the full 12". The dancing embellishments came as a last effort to 'fill' the page because I only had these four photos to create with. They are 1x1" squares cut from a 4x6" card and then layered onto Whisper White.

On the right, I love balance! So this page is balanced with 2 pictures and 2 of the 3x4" Memories and More cards. I got so excited once I created the layout that I immediately glued it together so I wouldn't forget ... and I hadn't done my journaling! EEKK!!!! So I got creative with my tiny post it notes and covered the space and practiced writing (see below).

I hope this is inspiring to get you going on this year's album early ... or maybe to finish up a past year.

Happy Stamping and Scrapping!
